Fiscus kijkt mee op Facebook, Netlog en eBay Afdrukken E-mail




De Bijzondere Belastinginspectie geeft toe dat controleurs internetsites als Facebook, Netlog en eBay afschuimen op zoek naar informatie over belastingplichtigen.
Het nieuws wordt bevestigd door gewestelijk directeur Karel Anthonissen: ‘Het is technisch mogelijk, het is legaal en het wordt gedaan.'

Boekhouders wijzen er op dat de gegevens die de fiscus zo verzamelt niet als bewijslast kunnen wiorden gebruikt,
maar ze kunnen er wel voor zorgen dat iemand extra gecontroleerd wordt. De inspecteurs kunnen aan de hand van foto's,
video's en commentaren nagaan of de levensstandaard van de betrokken overeenstemt met zijn belastingaangifte.
